Although sex education has been compulsory in Argentina since 2006, teen pregnancy rates are high, and the society is plagued with gender violence and femicides. To deal with these issues, the Ministry of Education’s award winning television channel for children, Päkapaka, has introduced a series of special episodes to offer sex education that children can relate to.
